

What music YOU Listen when the grass cuts? Lawstarter asked our lawn care professionals what they hear and their favorite songs about the cut of grass.
The results, of more than 600 of our professionals, were the opening of the ears. You may want to add a couple of these to your playlist so that your personal cutting engine works.
Favorite Songs about lawn and lawn cutting
No. 1 with a bullet between the favorite songs of our professionals about the grass and the grass is “Large green tractor“By Jason Aldean. He is optimistic, moving and presents a John Deere tractor.
What makes this song so special? “It describes working hard in the summer with the sun shining, sweating all day from the sun and drinking some water,” says Pascual Martin, Martin Lawn Care in Jackson, Mississippi.

Country music is, with much, the type of favorite music among the 602 respondents throughout the country. But our professionals, like you, listen to all the genres of music, and some do not prefer any melody so that they can be in tune with their machinery and their surroundings.

Reasons to listen
– Motivation/Energy: Optimistic genres such as hip hop, rock and EDM keep energized professionals quickly.
– Focus/Relaxation: The soothing genres such as R&B, Country, Jazz and classics help keep the focus and reduce stress.
– The time that passes quickly: Music or podcasts make the long working days feel shorter.
– Personal enjoyment: Many choose music they love or reflect their cultural or personal identity.
Surprising findings of our survey
Singing Lawn Mower Man: One Lawn Care Pro, Matthew Mattingly, recently released a new song. “I listen to my own voice. I sing with nuances about the sound of my cortempted and grass cutter engines,” says Mattingly, from Happy Grass Lawn and leaves in Louisville, Kentucky.
