You have two options if you want to exchange ultimate rewards points for an Hyatt stay.
First, you can transfer persecution points to Hyatt and then book an award through World of Hyatt. You can also reserve your stay through the Chase Travel℠ portal and redeem ultimate rewards points at the end of the purchase. You will get 1.25 cents per point if you have the preferred credit card of the preferred card of Chase Sapphire or the ink, or 1.5 cents per point with Chase Sapphire Reserve.
I avoid booking that Hyatt is left on the Chase Travel portal, since I do not get profits or benefits of World of Hyatt elite in doing so. But if you don’t care about elite profits and benefits, you may want to compare the points you would need to exchange for an Hyatt stay when booking directly with Hyatt versus reserves through the Chase Travel portal.
Since World of Hyatt uses a prize table instead of dynamic prizes prices for most stays, the number of points you will need to exchange can vary drastically depending on how to redeem. For example, this stay of one night on a Hyatt property of category 1 on a peak date would cost 3,500 points if reserved through World of Hyatt, but 16,878 points if reserved through Chase Travel with a preferred ink account.
In summary, if you are willing to give up the benefits and profits of World of Hyatt Elite, it is worth comparing the amount of points that your stay would require through World of Hyatt and Chase Travel.

Could Hyatt win through another method?

Read the information on the page that is loaded and then click “Transfer points”. If you are in an account with an authorized user, you may have to select the user who you want to transfer points. Once you do, enter or confirm the Hyatt world account associated with that user and click “Next”.
Enter the number of persecution points to transfer to Hyatt and select “Next.”
Confirm the transfer details on the final page and send your transfer application.
As I said before, in my experience, the persecution points generally transfer to Hyatt immediately. However, I usually have to close my Hyatt account and then log in to see the points transferred in my account. The transfer may take up to seven business days to process.
