Cottage by the Sea Style (5 Ways to Design a Coastal Sanctuary)

Cabin by the sea The style is my personal opinion on coastal decoration: an attractive combination of charm, authenticity and timeless comfort. This style gives a gentle assent to classical coastal design while weaved in the warmth of the life of the cabin, the charm rich in characters that is often found in the New England houses and a relaxed sensitivity of the northwest of the Pacific.

Today I will share 5 ways to embrace the cabin by the sea Style, no matter where you live!

Whether it is close to the coast or simply dreams of it, this style can invite you to reduce speed, taste your environment and create a sanctuary that reflects the peaceful rhythm of life in the sea.

What distinguishes the cabin in the style of the sea is its authenticity. It is not about following a particular decoration style, but about the desire to embrace what really inspires you, whether fashionable or not.

When you walk by the sea, you feel a feeling of peace that you wash that you do not require that you do anything but breathe in the healing power of salty air. I also love that visual for my home and my life.

For many of us, the sea embodies what a lovely life means. It invites us to reduce speed and be present. It is not about hurrying but relaxing.

Instead of being in a hurry to buy a decoration from which you regret when the trends change, surround yourself slowly what really speaks to your heart and soul.

The style of the Cabaña del Mar is not just to decorate in a traditional coastal sense, but it is about creating a mood that supports the lifestyle you want. The goal is to create a real sanctuary In every way of the word.

One: Consider the design elements of a sea style cabin:

Soft and washed fabrics and marine tones in a bad mood In neutral, warm white and blue and vegetables inspired by the ocean

Natural textures such as classic wood tones and worn parts, linen, rattan and marine pastures

Light and airy mood With a lot of natural light and ordered spaces

Casual and lived charm—Itte of cozy upholstery, Slipbovered or lasting, signs of life, quality pieces that he has compiled over time showing the age patina, nothing too precious, shelves without pretensions to show things you love.

Subtle coastal touches-As floating wood, sea shells, works of art inspired by marine, flashlights and informal stripes. Hug your collections and personality, without feeling the need to do everything or exaggerated

Fresh combinations– The inspiration of the architecture and traditional furniture of the cabin, but mix elements that will maintain their cabin for the style of the unique sea, fresh and carefree! He worries less about “the correct way” of decorating and, instead, embrace what you love, these personal touches will always be style. Incorporate funny pieces to establish mood, such as a classic scratched sofa or a bamboo chair on the desktop, or a ration shelf to show bedspreads.

These elements evoke the feeling If you are close to the water: imagine a salty breeze that comes through open windows, the sun dancing in the waves or the peaceful rhythm of the tides. By combining comfort, simplicity, authenticity and natural beauty, you can create a home that feels like a soft exhalation. A place that feels like a withdrawal from the stress of life and a daily reminder of everything that is beautiful in it.

Careño, peaceful, cozy and lived.

Two: create a cabin next to the mood of the sea

Creating a mood with a color palette is inspired by the coast itself. In my house, I draw the inspiration of the Coastal Pacific NW palette: these colors would be beautiful in other similar climates! Think of soft colors and washed with sun and slightly moody tones, worn woods, windy bed and natural textures that remind you of the kissing air with salt and walk along the shore. Relaxing shadows of oceanic blue, marine glass and warm white vegetables that feel fresh and welcoming.

The materials are natural and relaxed: I prefer a mixture of traditional and worn woods, wicker and rattan, soft bedding, striped patterns and botanists that bring the charm of a cabin by the sea. If you like a little more color, incorporate an accent of a beautiful red or yellow butter to bring additional color and personality to your space.

Three: embrace the chance of a style collected over time

The style of the sea cabin is a gently appearance in layers, refined with meaning and memory. He embraces the chance of a style collected over time, will be full of surprises that will bring a unique charm and in layers to their home.

Although there is a bit of the unexpected, ultimately it is about being intentional in their decisions. This is what really makes this style yours.

The pieces that you collect can certainly be related to the sea, there is no shame to be faithful to what you love. Of course, one does not have to make a bold nautical statement to capture a feeling, can silently knit in coastal accents and other gentle nods to what causes joy.

There is also freedom to adopt one’s personality: add some peculiarity or unique character in your furniture and accessories will improve the connection you feel with your home.

My philosophy is to always start what you have and gather what you love over time. It is a slower but more significant decoration process.

The key to this cabin of the sea style is to incorporate who you are and the life you live and aspire, not to have a hurry or collect meaningless tchotchkes just to finish a room.

Hug what brings joy and beauty to your life and house.

This style will include treasured findings gathered through the true adventures of life and the elements that inspire you to live the life you love.

In my own cabin by the sea, you will find beach walks, paintings of coastal villages, a beautiful pinecon collected on a walk through the forest. We have botanical prints and bird decoration as a nod to the organic beauty where we live in the northwest of the Pacific, we collect articles from Ratán and Bamboo, in addition to showing other special collections and memories of our family and life here.

I also love to find furniture with unique details (we have a vintage cabinet in our room that returned with my grandparents from abroad with engravings on golden ships) and I even love to find furniture with shapes that have curves. For example, our Facebook market bed reminds me of the waves of the sea.

You need time to find these special pieces and add them to our home.

In a cabin by the sea, each decorative element must be chosen with intention, not to keep up with any trend, but to create a peaceful mood and bring delight to people living in the home.

Four: Look for a relaxed and refined mixture

There is an ease in how everything is fixed, nothing too perfect or forced. Only a quiet mixture of what feels natural, inspiring and cozy.

It is not about formality or uproar, it is a lasting style that supports the life you want to live.

A cabin by the sea He embodies a comfortable balance of relaxed and refined style. It is the type of style that invites you to kick your shoes and breathe deeply, while surrounding you with beauty designed with intention.

This style brings together the relaxed charm of coastal life with reflexive and timeless elements that add character and a quality that elevates everyday life.

Incorporate relaxed but classic elements that will not only resist the test of time, but will add patina and character of a well -lived life.

Add classic architectural details, such as tongue and slot panels, upholstered paper and organic elements, such as marble, wool and wood.

Think about the timeless quality about the quantity, the simplicity of the uproar and the decoration in a way that feels natural to follow the rigid style rules.

Five: create a sanctuary by the sea, not an exhibition place too much style.

Fabric in every decoration detail in a cabin by the sea is the reminder that your home must be a sanctuary.

To create a sanctuary, which incorporates in your home should improve your daily rhythms, not complicate them too much. In a cabin next to the sea style, look quite perfect. Find joy in being a houses and taking care of the things you have and loving, instead of seeing your home simply as an obligation to keep up.

Think about creating a cabin by the sea as a lifestyle that should also nurture it.

To embrace the lifestyle, select easily careful fabrics and incorporate elements that are charming, not only visually, but also contribute to the act of caring for them.

Consider your words of humor and how you want to feel while decorating. Show enough memories to tell the story you want to tell and create the feeling you want to feel, but do not show so much that you feel overwhelmed or distracted in life when trying to keep the appearance of perfection.

Cabin by the sea Style about living well every day. It’s about using what you have, choose what matters and create beauty in simple moments. It is less about “decorating” and more of promoting a way of life that feels peaceful, personal and full of heart. – It’s about evoking the feeling of life by the sea.
